I have been animating some extracts from my story board so that I can practice and improve before tackling the final animation. To start of I have animated two options for the title page, one simpler than the other. I have yet to decide which one to chose, I may even give the kids the choice so that they can get involved. I then went on to animate the menu selection and the dissection of the cells.
I am meeting some children who suffer from Sickle Cell Anaemia soon at King’s College Hospital to get their opinion on what I have produced. I’ve created a gif to introduce them to the main character of the animation and I plan to show them even more various moving images so that they may get a better feel of what I am aiming to achieve.
I received my new Wacom Cintiq 13hd last night and finally got round to giving it a go today. I am absolutely smitten with it already. I find it so much easier to use considering you can see what you are drawing directly under the pen, rather than guessing and constantly using the undo button to get rid of dodgy lines!
I intend to try a more painted style next time, perhaps a portrait but for a test run I decided to illustrate my Olympus Trip 35.
